This weekend the last round of the Spanish national series was held in Madrid.
Javier Alonso, Marc Moix, Javi Ferrando and me had chances to get the title.
After some runs of practice on Friday and Saturday morning I got used to the fast yet technical layout of Capa and my brother and I found a good set up to start the race.
The first three rounds of qualifying were TQed by Javier Alonso securing the pole, while I could manage to be the fastest in the last two rounds taking the 2nd spot for the finals.
In the first main, Javier Alonso had a big crash at the beginning which let me pick up the lead and cruise until the end. In A2, Javier Alonso was on new tyres which gave him enough advantage to take the main easily.
In the last one, the title was at stake between Alonso and me. We both escaped from the rest of the field and fought for the championship, which finally ended up in my hands. Lastly, the podium was completed by Javi Ferrando making a 1-2-3 for Xray.
